I deliver the analytical work behind a comparative evidence platform on national statistical strategies. I curate and validate the corpus of country documents so they can be compared on equal terms, design the framework for turning policy questions into structured and traceable evidence, and I work on producing the reports and dashboard prototypes for dissemination. The work runs against a contracted schedule of deliverables reviewed by the Secretariat.

I work on communicable-disease research and outbreak surveillance across West and Central Africa. I design the sampling for multi-country field studies, contribute to their analysis plans and final analyses, and analyse clinical trials in neglected tropical diseases. Alongside the studies I build the tools used in the process: surveillance data capture systems, statistical packages in R and Stata, and applications for automate reporting. I have been deployed to outbreak responses to set up real-time analytics and to train the national teams, and I give regular R trainings.

Regional statistician for operations in four West and Central African countries. I managed and validated the data coming in from the field, delivered the analytical reports for medical and operational teams, and set up the regional frameworks for collecting and reporting health data. I worked on a population-based mortality survey from end to end — protocol and sampling design, ethics approval, enumerator training, fieldwork with daily quality monitoring, analysis, and delivery of the results to the mission and the ministry of health — and built statistical packages adopted for data management.

Short consultancy on a regional programme covering ten West African countries. I collected and harmonised national data sources into a single analytical framework, wrote the country analytical reports for policymakers and development partners, and built economic models used for policy scenario analysis.

My first consultancy, in veterinary and public health research. I worked on vector-borne disease risk at territorial level and produced national risk maps used to target surveillance; digitalised the field data collection. The work led to one peer-reviewed publication.
